Coming soon: John Carter
This guy reminds me of someone....I just can't put my finger on it. Hubby? Clem the Bull-Terrier? Hmmm...it'll come to me.John Carter opens this Friday, March 9th. I have a suspicion that Bro' B will be there at an early screening...because what kid (even one who's 28) doesn't love a good Edgar Rice Burroughs story? DVD Reviews: The Big Year
The Big Year [Blu-ray]This film could have gone many different directions. The Big Year could have been a Christopher Guest style mockumentary, or a beautiful depiction of mans connection with nature, or a interesting character piece about birders. Unfortunately the Big Year is none of these things. The Big Year is a middle of the road comedic piece that grabs at all of these things but never holds on too long. DVD Reviews: The Son of No One

If we cannot latch on to the characters the plot just won’t matter. I like Dito Montiel as a director (I may catch flack for this) but his first movie is one of my favorites of the decade. With this in mind I thought this film is pretty good, at least average. Synopsis Time!A rookie cop is assigned to the ... continue reading...
