RAH RAH RAISELS!!!!

I had my granddaughter Libby this weekend. On Saturday, she ate 1) a milkshake – strawberry = from Arctic Circle 2) SNAPS a licorice treat from the grocery store 3) sugar coated cereal and 4) a coke. She declined the pizza I went out and bought, the cheese I begged my neighbor for, the scrambled eggs I begged her to eat and informed me that she ate NO vegetables or fruits and hated meat. SHREAK. When she almost passed out that evening, I realized I was in Grandma Hell.

Luckily, I had just received RAISELS in the mail! Raisels are a new HEALTHY (a nasty word around the grandkids) alternative to CANDY from the National Raisin Company – a family owned and operated company. Chewy – better than Starbursts – and sour but tart, I sat down and ate 8 boxes (well I never said Libby didn’t get my genes, did I). And I only eat healthy foods – no candy ever enters my house!

These antioxidant rich, fat free, cholesterol free (listening, Z??) with 100% of the US RDA for vitamin C are cunchy, munchy terrors! They are simply delish! With only 70 calories a box (and I bet you can’t just eat ONE box!) they are nourishing and low fat.

With NO sodium, no high fructose corn syrup or artificial sweeteners, I can hand these out like golden coins and point my grandkids in the direction of the Trivoli Fountain!

You seriously cannot define the taste of these lazy and delicious fruit raisels! The flavors I received were Sour Apple (SWOON!), Sour Orange (better than gummies), Sour Lemon (like those lemon drops we used to suck on when we were kids!) and Sour Peach! If I had to pick a favorite, I will go with Libby! She said, “Grandma, I want all four!
