Like Chiropractic For Elephants
Author: Dr. Rod Block
The good news:
Dr. Block makes his case for veterinary chiropractic medicine and the manipulation of energy flow that affects the musculature systems of animals. I have used and believe in dog and horse vet chiropractic and have used it on my animals for years. It works.
The bad news:
Dr. Block needs to add 200 pages to this small 83 page tome, and to speak more about his cases, his experiences and his clients. The volume is simply too short. Of course, not such bad news to Dr. Block – I wanted more because what he says is too important to clip into a short volume.
As we hear of chiropractic used on lizards and an elephant, and Dr. Block’s intuitive knowledge of left and right brain affect on perception, intuition and energy flow within the body of animals, I expected more information.
A great start and introduction into the world of animals and how we can relieve their (and our) pain non invasively (what pet parent doesn’t anguish when a vet says ‘I can’t figure it out or do anything?’), I sincerely hope that Dr. Block considers a more extensive foray into a subject that is valid. I liked that Dr. Block insisted that Western medicine for animals is certainly valid also, but that chiropractic and acupuncture assist our animals also.
