I don’t often buy skin care products
because I am a stick in the mud!~ I tend to always buy the same brands, the same makeup and use natural oils on my face that I blend myself. BAD BABY BOOMER me! There are so many more products out there today that are new, healthy and tangibly BETTER than those old standbys. Cleopatra’s Choice is one of them.
I received Cleopatra’s Choice Shea Butter (100% organic from Africa – Yellow Gold – Grade A (one pound) container) along with one bar of Adovia Dead Sea Mud Soap (4.4 oz) and the Adovia Mineral Skin Purifying Mud Mask (with Dead Sea Mud, Aloe Vera and Vitamin C (5.1 fl oz). And I am SO glad that I did! I can pretend that I don’t care that I am aging, but secretly I glare at every single wrinkle every single morning and hate that my skin is aging. My favorite line is, “Oh, I’m not vain, I have so many talents” and THAT is a blatant lie. Of course I care. I just didn’t know where to go or what to do about it.
I have dry areas of skin as well as oily, with a very Irish white complexion. Also, my skin is sensitive (one reason I don’t wander out into the world of Products That Don’t Work and Can’t Be Returned). However, the mud mask was rejuvenating. It feels silky on the skin, and did not affect my sensitive skin in any way but positive. One of the reasons that I can’t use defoliants is that my skin goes red with those horrible bumps that others call pimples. This mask gently dried and when I washed it off my skin glowed with no redness and no – yuck I hate to even use the word – pimples. It closed my large pores and when I put on my skin oils for the evening, my skin felt heavenly. That is saying a lot, as I have tried dried egg, Aveeno, Stri Vectin scrubs, etc., and I always get engorged pores.
The soap is LOVELY. I usually use Dove body lotion or unscented soap because my mom always did. And the Adovia soap provided a rosy glow all over my body, as well as being extremely mild to my skin. This will be a staple in my bathroom from now on.
The Shea Butter is also amazing. Since my skin is thin and translucent, I scrape myself constantly. I have been putting the shea butter not only on my legs and arms, but on my scrapes as well, and they heal much faster. I also have a dachshund (as you all know) and he has had a peeling around the edges of his black nose in the summer for years. It looks like Ebola! I put the shea butter on his nose for three days (and will continue to do so) and it cleared up for the first time in years in three days! That is a miracle for me, because I have spent a fortune at the vet and the hydrocortisone creams did nothing. YIPPEE! If it works for me as well as Clem, I’m on it!
I felt nourished by the ingredients which are all natural.
That is hard to find in skin care, and I don’t like chemicals on my skin. Cleopatra’s Choice also has a specialized line for psoriasis and eczema, and my son suffers badly from both, so that will be my next purchase.
I have CONFIDENCE in this line of products.
I am so picky when it comes to my skin (not Broad Z, she tries everything and her skin always glows), but I got stuck with the Irish genes so what can I do? Find products like Cleopatra’s Choice – that’s what!

I have been using many products from this company, for 2 plus years now. The retinol cream /serum. Vitamin c cream/serum…eye gel…and essential oils. Absolutely LOVE all their products!…..a huge difference in how my face looks and feels!
