K’NEX was the one toy on the table last year that my grandkids absolutely LOVED. It is difficult to find toys that appeal long term to my grandsons; they, like all men, are busy with their achievements and jump from one thing to the next. So last year I gave them K’NEX and EVERYONE was delighted.
Not only easy enough to assemble while maintaining an interesting level for that eager beaver that never plays with anything longer than 5 seconds, all the K’NEX kits that I bought were well used and educational. They teach my grandsons to stick with a project, that assembling and making something is fun, and then the PLUS moment: it came alive right before their eyes! This year, the wonderful Light Up Ferris Wheel is one of the nicest toys on the market today! When my grandson Chas saw it, I thought he was going to tear it from my arms and rip it open – instead he screamed “K’NEX! K’NEX!” I love the complex idea incorporated into the Thrill Sets, and the configurations of movement and motorization that compels this toy from “toy” to creation. A toy is static; a creative building set is in another venue. It educates and teaches as well as providing fun!
The new Thrill Ride series, with brand new product, allows your child to become a part of that huge venue that has become an American icon – the amusement park scene! Instead of having to plan a trip to Disney (although anytime I get the chance I LOVE to t Disney theme parks!) you can present your child with his own motorized rides with all the thrills while staying home! The Ferris Wheel that lights up is tantamount to a fantastic creation that provides a light show while offering hours and hours of fun and education for that manly (or girly) builder! This year Chas, my grandson, asked me if he was going to get K’NEX for Christmas! HMMMM I answered. I will have to speak with the K’NEX SANTA! And what a SANTA K’NEX is! This toy line has become one of the most popular and beloved of toys and I can personally speak for the quality, creativity and value of K’NEX. They will continue to be in Grandma’s Santa bag – and Birthday Bag – and just “Whenever I want my kids to have a great time” bag for many years to come!
I LOVE this Ferris Wheel! Check it out! This product is as much fun for adults as it is for the kids! Excellent product, K’NEX! Keep them coming. Just an aside – K’NEX presents a huge variety of building kits for children age 4-11, and when you go to their site, you will be amazed at the variety and constant presentation of new K’NEX kits available! I did all my Christmas shopping on this site!

P.S. in the pictures above you will see Chas and Libby, my grandchildren BOTH racing to finish the Vertical Viper! Chas had it down in 20 minutes! This set is so amazing that we all sat mesmerized while we missed the Great American Race!! Chas is 11 and Libby is 9.
