This friendship bracelet maker kit almost makes the bracelet for you (OK, maybe that’s an BIG exaggeration – but, it certainly is easy)! Kid as well as Mom friendly, and unlike other cord kits, the My Friendship Bracelet Maker has a butterfly clip installed on a plastic guitar like platform. The clips holds the knot in place while you pull your different colored threads through one of the 11 knobs allowing you to simply knot many strands and colors at the same time into a ½ inch bracelet pattern. My granddaughter Isa took to it like an Elysian weaver, and her beautiful bracelet emerged quickly. Quickly is good, since 10 year olds have a contained attention span! I loved the huge variety of threads (56 in total) and colors. My only observation was that girls (or Moms) cannot weave in beads or charms, which to me personalizes the friendship bracelets charmingly.

This is a quick and foolproof way to “weave” your bracelet and for someone like me with 4 thumbs and a disinclination to read instructions, I loved the I can do It! Ease in which the clip and platform perform. Another great Christmas idea for that special little girl or preteen on your list or in your life who loves her girlfriends and crafts – and who amongst us isn’t one of those?
