This log is now in Clem’s mouth. One. Two. Three. Four. Five (SECONDS). Bingo. He is eating the plastic off the end of the log (I barely had time to snap the shot!).
However, the packaging clearly states that supervision is a MUST with all dog toys and to remove product when worn or damaged (I love that this company takes responsibility – some don’t). ALSO, my dachshund destroys most rubber toys of any durability within seconds except P.T. toys and he gives that minutes to destroy.
So, for the dog that LOVES to PLAY with his toys, not demolish them, this DogLog is irresistible. Clem kept trying to get it in the car (it was in the FEDEX packaging!) as I was brining it home, and he just bonded with this toy! This is a rubber log with a delightfu full squirrel tail made of fuzzy material. Long after I had to remove the plastic log, clem trailed around the house with the Furry Tail in his mouth.
I would highly suggest DOGLOG for dogs that are not heavy (voracious!!) chewers like Clem (he’s almost eaten my whole sofa). Always supervise your dog with ANY toy – some dogs are simply very aggressive chewers. I give the DOGLOG a 4 for light chewers and a 5 for posting warnings and the reality that NO TOY is indestructible on the back packaging. Good honest, marketing, very doggable fun toy (the rubber was not cheaply made and seemed durable to me).
