Pound Puppies: Super Secret Pup Club
“A pup for every person and a person for every pup!” That’s the motto for the Pound Puppies: Lucky, Niblet, Cookie, Squirt and Strudel – a team of fearless canines whose sworn mission is to find homes for lonely dogs. However, when the Pound Puppies get too busy, the younger puppies, Rebound, Cupcake and Patches form the Super Secret Pup Club to help out with the missions!
Pound Puppies is one of my favorite kids’ dvd series. The animation is adorable and this little tribe of dogs is always trying to find other little rescue doggies homes. Warm and fuzzy, my 8 year old granddaughter Mari is addicted to the TV series and the Pound Puppies DVDs. What I love? They are so winsome, and with the new addition of the Super Secret Pup Club, the little ones, Rebound, Cupcake and Patches are Best in Show! I don’t want to give the plot away, but this is one DVD that your kids will love as the three pups go on their own adventures!
The Special Feature, “Learn How to Draw Rebound,” is delightful, and Mari spent an hour watching it over and over with piles of copy paper at her side as she drew Rebound over and over!
I can’t say enough about the Pound Puppies! It’s like having “Lady and the Tramp” as a rescue group of a darling group of animated doggies on a mission (not Impossible). Thanks again, Shout and Hasbro for a great DVD!
