Unique Artisan Jewelry

Ever since I visited Sundance 10 years ago, I had been in love with the Sundance artisan jewelry. However, the other day, as I was spending my $600.00 on an artisan necklace by Naomi Herndon, I glanced over and saw another customer – wearing the same piece.  Yikes!  That piece went on ebay – fast.

As a discriminating woman, I want jewelry that is a little bit different, a little bit whimsical and a lot well made and luminescent.  And I don’t want to spend hundreds of dollars to enjoy my jewelry.  So I began looking for artisans and found Rose Gilley Designs and Etsy.

I crave the ephemeral feel of silver with a slight touch of gold, and I love semi precious stones because they center me, and with one look, my day brightens.  Lately, I have been visiting Etsy, to find the “new names” in artisan, hand made jewelry, and I felt that I wanted that “each piece is different” feel.

Rose Gilley Designs made my heart do that “flippy flop” pitter patter that truly original jewelry compels.  I was sent the stellar stackable rings, fine silver turned into the perfect round ring, hammered and wire wrapped with 14K gold filled wire and tourmaline.  And I love them!
