Days shorten, the sun regresses, and here in Utah we seek new ways to stay warm amidst upcoming winter storms! Always on the CQ for new mitts, hats and arm warmers, I found Xob Hats, caps accessories, home, bags, kids and the Dohm Collection! Sure we’re as green as an Irish clover here at TRB, Xob hats fit the bill – their products are monstrously gorgeous, real wool, price proficient – and environmentally sustainable (and let me tell you, their quality is A+).
I received the most unique pair of arm warmers in the brown/tan color and they proved WARM, CHIC and STURDY! One of my pet peeves about woolen gloves and arm warmers is that they fall apart after several wearings: threads unravel, they are too thin to keep my hands warm, and the little thumb holes become unstitched – very faux pas for a Diva! Last year I bought 5 pair of fingerless hand/arm warmers (each around $48) from my FAVORITE catalog store with that famous Utah name and to my despair, these imported beauties either wore badly or downright fell apart, or lost their shape š I like to wear a different pair of fingerless gloves according to my outfit, so I have been on the hunt for quality wool gloves. Santa must have been listening, for when I received Xob’s arm warmers in the mail and opened the box, you could hear my scream of joy all across Utah!

These upcycled arm warmers are handcrafted on antique knitting machines – since 1994@ Xob (say zob) presents creative, no two items alike, hats, gloves, scarves and the COOLEST messenger bags that contain parts and pieces of recycled wool blend sweaters and suit jackets with fun, fresh and funky designs! All packaging, including tags and catalog, are recycled product!
As you can see in the pictures, the quality of my arm warmers far exceed the quality of my high-priced last year’s fingerless gloves. I love this company – FINALLY Ā a product MADE IN THE USA that fits my rough lifestyle in the mountains as well as KEEPS ME WARM! What more could you ask for (well, Xob, I’ed LOVE to see a line of coats in the mix of your 2012 – 2013 designs – please)???
