The perfect gift ideas are hard to come by. The majority of people will often provide cards, cash, vouchers or clothes. Some might argue this is the easiest way out. The receiver can then buy the gift they want to receive. But the problem with giving a person a gift card is that there is no emotional attachment. To me, what it shows is that the individual buying your present put no thought into it and bought the gift card last minute, possibly 15minutes before he or she turns up at your birthday party…How thoughtful?!
Sometimes we decide to purchase new clothes as a gift. But more times than not we are taking the person’s sense of style and fashion into consideration but our own. This is difficult.
After much consideration, I have come to the conclusion that chocolate is the ultimate birthday gift. It is a gift that shows love and affection; a gift that you can enjoy with your loved ones.
