As October comes to an end, we need to remember that Breast Cancer Awareness should NOT be limited to one month of the year. Thankfully there are organizations who help keep the cause alive throughout the year.
I tend to support products and companies that give back, especially when they do so in a BIG way. For the second year in a row Orbit White Bubblemint gum has teamed up with Bright Pink in order to enlighten and empower women who are at high-risk for these diseases, and provide education, support and a sense of community for a better, brighter future.
My mother lost her battle with breast cancer at the age of 55. As a result, I am left with the knowledge that by helping to raise awareness that I might be able to impact someone to get early detection. I make a conscious effort to support brands that help fight against this horrible disease.
