I’m trying VERY hard to lose a few pounds. I’ll be heading to New York in about five or six weeks. I’m going there to find some GREAT PRODUCTS for the holidays to highlight here on The Review Broads (we’re planning to be jam packed with holiday reviews and giveaways — ESPECIALLY for the kids, as well as EVERYONE in your family). Of course, I’m planning on doing some shopping of my OWN while I’m there, and I’d LOVE to be back in a size 8 in time to go (I’ll even settle for a size 10).
Arnold Bakeries sent me a couple of packages of their new Sandwich Thins to review. They’re disc shaped flatbreads that come pre-sliced (which is good because being so thin, they’d be a pain to try to slice evenly). What a great way to start my weight loss program. These Sandwich rounds are only 100 calories – for BOTH sides. I’ve been using them for just about everything.
- Mornings – I make an egg sandwich with some egg whites and non-fat cheese.
- Lunch – These are the perfect addition to my deli sandwich (topped with LOTS of lettuce & tomatoes)
- Dinner – Burgers on these flying saucer looking rounds are PERFECT
- Snack – I’ve been toasting 1/2 of the round (like using one slice of bread) and topping with a little peanut butter.
Not only are they practical and delicious – but they’re HEALTHY as well.
With varieties including
- MultiGrain
- 100% Whole Wheat
- Seedless Rye
- Whole Grain
I know that I’m not putting a bunch of JUNK into my soon to be svelte body. There are NO trans-fats, no high fructose corn syrup and low in fat and cholesterol, PLUS they’re made with WHOLE GRAINS.
I found them strategically placed by the deli counter at the Publix that I shop at. I liked that, as I could pick up my sliced chicken, the Arnold Sandwich Thins and go STRAIGHT to the register without making my way through the bread (and goody) aisle.
So, go ahead and “thindulge” – I am (and by the way, I’ve already lost a few pounds).
Thanks to Arnold Bakeries for providing me with these YUMMY and thindulgent sandwich thins for this review, (as well as starting my diet out on the right foot).

I recently bought these to try with turkey burgers. I was happy with them, and would use them again. You've found some tasty ways to use them!

I had a big juicy burger on mine last night. I DID get a little messy, but, then I had so much lettuce, tomato & onions piled on top that nothing could have kept this from falling apart.

We LOVE these! This is all I've been buying for my husband's lunch, and I also toast them and top with peanut butter.
