Tiana who kisses a frog and turns into a frog leads the show through the great Louisiana bayou in this Disney twist on a classic. A jazzy 1920’s background envelopes the story along with an evil Voodoo man, Dr. Facilier who is responsible for turning Tiana into a frog.
Tiana’s family, very poor but loving, leave her with only her strong worth ethic. She is a waitress who works constantly in order to own her own restaurant. When she has the poor judgement to kiss frog Naveem out of her good heart, she turns into a frog. In order to become prince and princess, back to their human form, Tiana and Naveem lead us musically through the bayou with dangerous aligators and a very caring firefly. The Broadway musical feel jumpstarts some of the lackluster plot and the lush songs and bayou background present interest to a film that needs it.
Princess Portraits Game – Lots of fun for the kids, especially if they are Disney Princess lovers.
