With beautiful midieval illustrations and the classic story of Rapunzel, this rendition by Scholastic is absolutely stunning. As a couple realize they are to have a child, the wife starts craving the wild rapunzel growing in their neighbor’s garden. But the neighbor is an evil sorceress and has enchanted the garden with an evil curse. When the husband is caught stealing the sorceress’ rapunzel, she demands their first child. When the baby is born, the sorceress appears to take the baby.

We all know the rest of the story – but, your children will be enchanted too, when the handsome prince finds his Rapunzel at the end.

Chrysanthemum is a little girl mouse beloved by her parents. She loves her name and everything about herself. But, when she starts school, the other girls lead by Victoria and Iris make fun of her and tell her that Chrysanthemum has too many syllables and is an awful name. Her teacher, Mrs. Chudd, invites Mrs.Delphinium Twinkle turns everything around when she names her new aby – Chrysanthemum!
