Air Bud: World Pup Special Edition DVD

Who me biased? Yes indeed – especially when it comes to the Air Bud movies. My miniature bull terrier Clem’s litter-mate Connie and her offspring Syl starred in Space Buddies as the wonderful Russian Spudnik.

Yes, I know – the Air Bud movies are trite and within seconds of watching, you know exactly what the plot is, but that’s why the kids LOVE them. They’re feel good, predictable and have those adorable Golden Retrievers that we just can’t get enough of.

Air Bud: World Pup as you may have guessed is about a soccer playing canine that joins his owner Josh’s team in an attempt to win the state soccer tournament. With Josh having a crush on the girls soccer coach and Buddy having a crush on Molly, this is a romantic story that’s doubly cute. Yes in each case boy gets girl and of course Buddy saves the day (hey, this is a Buddy movie – what did you expect?).

Oh and did I mention that Molly & Buddy have….PUPPIES? Yup, Madame “Z” predicts that there will be a LOT more movies starring this pack of pups, and I’ll be right here screening EVERY one of them.

Kids will be delighted as will dog loving adults. If you’re neither – then watch something else.

All-New: The Buddies Sports Channel: Soccer Edition: This is pretty cute. It’s a play by play with the puppies and Rosebud as they look back on their dad’s soccer “career” – It’s done like a real play-by-play and it’s pretty cute.

Making Of Air Bud World Pup Production Featurette: Details and behind the scenes look at the making of the original Air Bud World Pup. Because they use so many dogs in making these movies, it’s always fun to see how and what they do. Loved it.

PLUS – this edition comes with a VERY special soccer bag.
