I have to say that I’m REALLY enjoying this move from the indie rock crowd to children’s music that’s going on right now. The best part is that the artists who are doing these are the edgy, quirky, indie artists that appeal to all ages and are so much FUN.

I feel a little guilty having grabbed this CD to review. My “KID” is 27 years old and LOVES Keller Williams. I have no little ones to enjoy this with, and I am selfishly reviewing it. I saw Broad “A’s” review of Caspar Babypants last week and was TOTALLY jealous (huge PUSA fan here). I know, she has four grandkids, so it’s OK for HER to review the CD, still I wanted to see what all of the hoopla was about (and yes, I am a K-Dub fan myself).

HOOPLA – Plain and simple – this “children’s” CD is really a FAMILY album, because mom, dad and the 16 year old who won’t listen to anything their parents do will ALL love this just as much as the four year old who’s chillin’ in his “Car Seat” (one of my favorite tracks).

In that typical K.W. style these songs will make you giggle, think, giggle some more, and then have you singing along with them. Yes – they’re a little warped, yes – they’re a little silly and yes – they’re a WHOLE LOT OF FUN.

Nope – you don’t HAVE to be a KID to enjoy this CD, you can be as selfish as I was and buy it for yourself, but I’m guessing the kids will love it JUST AS MUCH AS YOU DO.
