The Earth has been discovered to be 5800 years old, but when Paul stalks the bones in an ancient dig on the Indonesian island of Flores, he finds DNA that suggests an entire new scenario to the Earth – and its ancient people. Suddenly a military force attacks and Paul and his two friends are on the run. One of his friends is killed, the other vanishes and Paul loses an eye in a horrific attack that leaves Paul shaken to his bones.

His characters point and thrust, challenging us to follow them down the dark hole of greed and politics, and a strange man who calls the shots with an empire of DNA created beings. Unbelievably good, this makes Jurassic Park seem like a comic book.
Fact, interweaved with fiction, with a large dash of creative daring prove that Kosmatka is a superb author at his finest hour. This novel is big, brave, daring and succulently intriguing. It made my reading day. I foresee great things for Prophet of Bones.
