I could be sitting on the couch, eating bon-bons (trite) and complaining about things. Did you know that seven years ago I was told by a team of doctors (including second & third opinions) that I’d probably NEVER WALK AGAIN? Yes, I was ADVISED that I might temporarily be able to limp along with the aid of a brace, a walker or those AWFUL forearm crutches and “special” shoes (the ugliest things I’ve ever seen), but that eventually I’d be in a wheelchair. I’m happy to tell you that I walk without the use of any of those, as a matter of fact, I need a pedicure, because the shoes that I now wear the sexiest shoes that I can walk in (sandals most of the time here in South Florida).

How did I defy the odds? It was simple really. I took action into my own hands. I stopped praying for help and TOOK CHARGE OF HELPING MYSELF.

A few weeks ago I was approached to review this book “Stop Praying.” I had promised myself “no more book reviews” until I catch up on the pile I’ve got in the office. BUT, when I read the premise of the book I immediately changed my mind, because I KNEW that this was something that could change my reader’s lives around.

Stop Praying will help you turn your life around in 21 days. Don’t get me wrong, you shouldn’t stop praying to a higher being, spirituality is a GOOD thing. It’s about YOU TAKING ACTION in order for anything to change. I was brought up with the belief that God gave us tools to use in our lives and that ASKING for help when he/she’s already given us what we need to move forward isn’t necessary. Many of us get caught up in DREAMING, WISHING and THINKING about change when what we need to be doing is just START.

This little book (70 pages of text and 21 journal entry pages) packs a HUGE punch. It will give you a viable method to make ALL of the changes that you so desperately wish for. Only THIS TIME you’ll be starting on a more successful, fulfilling and healthy life in the simplest way possible.

There are things that I need to change in my life, but I’ve been putting off. I’m no where NEAR having made a habit out of my action yet, but I’m on my way. Even though I’ve just begun the process, I can already SEE positive changes.
