Meanwhile, two other LAPD cops, Flotsam and Jetsam (surfboard dudes when not on duty) are not on the trail of two other suspects – a nutcase biker and a man who wears dreads and looks like an actor himself called Jerzy and Tristan.

Jerzy and Tristan are runners for a man named Dewey, who with his audacious wife Eunice run scams across Hollywood Hills.

This classic Wambaugh weaves its web of cunning as all three suspects – Box Cutter Man, Tristan and Jerzy – are involved in these high tech crimes. In the meantime, Dana and Nate experience some of the most bizarre run-ins of their careers.
