Broad Z: Hey, “S” – I hear you’ve been reading Babushka’s Beauty Secrets. So…are you GORGEOUS yet?

Broad S: Let’s just say that I have an uncontrolable desire to crush grapes on my face.

Broad Z: New wine recipe?

Broad S: Recipe? Hold on girlfriend, unless you can toss it in a boiling pot and toss some jarred sauce on it…no way. It’s the fact that grapes are FULL of AHAs and that’s the ingredient that reduces wrinkles.

Broad Z: Well, believe it or not I read this book too. But, I’m passing on the grapes and I’m all about the strawberries (they increase collagen in your skin). But – what did you REALLY think about the book S?

Broad S: I’d say that I had heard a lot of these beauty tips before, but to have them all together in ONE place is pretty handy.

Broad Z: I agree, although there were a LOT of things that I’d NEVER heard of

Broad S: I’ve even started taking Milk Baths (the lactic acid in milk helps get rid of dead skin).

Broad Z: OK Cleopatra…Next thing you know you’ll have all of those HOT Pharoahs peeling the grapes to put on your face.

Broad S: Ooooh, I like the way you think Z.

Broad Z: And then there’s VODKA

Broad S: Yeah, one shot of that and even YOUR husband would look good Z.

Broad Z: ERRRR….now you’re ticking me off S. I meant the fact that there are more beauty recipes that include Vodka than I ever imagined.

Broad S: Oh, well you know me…open mouth insert – GRAPES!

Broad Z: From skin-saving soufflés to body wraps, mani/pedi’s and lips there are old school recipes on which the NEW technology of skin care is based. Why should you pay $200 for a face cream that has fruit acids to cure wrinkes, when the fruit itself will do the same thing for PENNIES.

Broad S: Since I’m new around here, I thought I’d let everyone know that I actually make skin products and sell them at markets and fairs, so I KNOW the power of these Old World tips. Yes, they work. If they didn’t they would not have been passed down from generation to generation and still be used today.

Broad Z: So you liked it S?

Broad S: I did – I’m giving it 4 out of 5 stars
