But they both love Gavin’s choice of bride, Perfect For Gavin Beth, and they know that not only their lives but their professional reputations are on the line.
As the two friends grapple with a dangerous situation, they both put their beloved daughters first to work out their loves and their business in the best manner possible.
Absolutely delightful, full of complexities, as well as funny and startlingly heartfelt, Circle the Date is much more than just a cute plot with cute characters. Friendship, family, loyalty, and matters of the heart lie at the the inner core of this endearing novel, and growing up and the pain it causes, as well as the pride it brings, culminates in a story that wraps its little pinky finger around us as we put it down and want to read it all over again.
A delightful read, fast and furiously paced, I enjoyed every clever turn of the plot and Lesley and Patsy became dear friends. Well done.
