Bark-2s-Cool Reviews & Giveaway: Squeeki Tiki

Broad A: Squeeki Tiki is better than Freaky Friday.For the Dogg^ee crowd, Squeeki Tiki measures way beyond “Dog Toy!” Clem the Dachshund lives, sleeps, breathes Goddess Tiki Toy.

Broad Z: OK, this is going to get WAY too confusing for our readers, because your dog and my dog are BOTH named Clem. Hmmm….I’ll just refer to mine as Bullie Clem and yours as Doxie Clem.

Well, Bullie-Clem jumped up, all four off the floor when I unwrapped these. I was going to put them aside until it was time for the review, but he had that “no dice mama” look in his eyes. I gave in and just grabbed the camera.

Broad A: The squeaker sounds so unusual – more like a siren – and his ears perk, he starts to drool, and life is GOOD.

Broad Z: Yup, that’s what IMMEDIATELY got Bullie-Clem’s attention. The sound of the squeaker is SO distinct. If you watch the short video I did, you can hear it. What I liked about them (which I’m sure was TOTALLY lost on the dog) is that they’re funky looking. I like them laying around the house. It’s Dog Kitsch (they’re oh-so retro looking).

Broad A: I sell dog toys and I have yet to see this response in the store for anything Toy Doggee! (Except the real filet mignon we give our little customers – ok apples to oranges, mixed dachshund metaphor – NOT THE POINT READERS).

Broad Z: WHAT???

Broad A: Doxie-Clem, who also is known as Barracuda Teeth (better than Barracuda Breath) and has clomper genes to rival shark teeth, did insert a canine tooth in a corner of his beloved Tiki Squeaky, but that did not dim his adoration for this toy! Truly. And Clem is not a normal dog – truly.

Broad Z: OK, that’s weird, because Clem is a Miniature Bull Terrier (known for their BIG mouth and powerful jaws) and he didn’t puncture his. Hey “A”, do Doxie’s have those sharp puppy teeth? That’s probably why. But, Bullie-Clemmie plays very gently with his toys. He still has toys (fabric ones) from 3 years ago.

Broad A: My designer sofa is half shredded and soccer balls lie listless and flat on the floor. He’s a chewer! Most dogs do not do Destructo . Under supervision (and you must always supervise Fido with any toy or bone) this is one good Goddess – oops – toy!

Broad Z: Although Bullie-Clem’s breed tends to be heavy chewers, he is not. I would be VERY careful of just about ANY toy with a heavy chewer. Clem’s been playing with this toy for over a month now and it’s one of his favorites. As a matter of fact he brought it to me in bed last night (felt great when I rolled over on to it……NOT).

Broad A: I loved it, he loved it, I got to do my work around the house — but the neighbors – not so much (bark bark!).

Broad Z: That’s right, you’re in an apartment. I have the luxury of no neighbors until “the season” (Nov-May).

The Squeeki Tiki’s come in 14 different colors and sizes and the BEST part is that unlike a lot of OTHER dog toys. These Polynesian Gods are Phthalate and BPA FREE.
