Broad A: I tried Cyber Clean on my (filthy) car to get out all the dirt that settles on my gear shift and cupholder, etc.
Broad Z: You did WHAT?
Broad A: I actually lost the little glop of yellow slime when it slithered into the rubber around
the gear shift and it shredded – kinda glomped – apart. It took me awhile to get it out.
Broad Z: Okay, A – read the directions. They sent you the Cyber Clean for ELECTRONICS – NOT the Cyber Clean Automotive.
Broad A: OMG, so THAT was the problem OK, Z -I’m handing this over to you then.
Broad Z: OK, well I used it the right way (as you’ll see on the video). By the way, I had absolutely NO PROBLEM with it getting caught between the keys of my laptop. The only thing it DID catch was lots of dirt (I just shouldn’t eat and type at the same time – UGH). I agree, it reminded me of that slime that I would buy “B” when he was little (and then get upset with myself as I was picking pieces of it out of the white carpet, the sheepdog’s hair and other unmentionable places).
Broad A: Oh shoot I should have used it on my computer (it was too shredded after the gearshift debacle) or cell phone and my feeling is that it MUST perform more like magnet to pick up pieces of small dirty things, etc.
Broad Z: I’d say you made a quick rush to judgment, based on faulty test results (hey, I sound SMART).
OK, well I used it on my keyboard (see video), it worked the way it’s supposed to. I hadn’t cleaned it out in AGES and since I didn’t feel like schlepping my whole vacuum over and the Dustbuster is too large to get into small spaces like this, I liked being able to pull the package out and give it a quick cleaning any time I want.
Um, by the way “A” Cyber Clean DOES make an automotive compound designed SPECIFICALLY for use in the car. The info that I read says it has a minty fresh smell to it (something MY car can use – wonder if the smell will cover the odor of wet-dog).
Broad A: I think I need some of that then. Where can I buy it, now that I’ve made a total mess of this?
Broad Z: Office Depot, Ace Hardware, Bed Bath and Beyond and LOTS of other retailers carry it….but, you could be lazy like me and just order it online from Amazon or Cyber Clean.
Broad A: One of the things that I DID notice is that it has an anti-bacterial formula to it.
Broad Z: Yes, which is EXACTLY why I’m sending some with “B” in his Back-to-School supplies at college. At least he can clean up AFTER his roommate “borrows” his electronics (without asking of course). I only wish that Cyber Clean could do something about the REST of his room.
Thank you to Cyber Clean for providing the product for our review.
