Car Cleaning Tips You Need To Know

During this time when we’ve all been stuck at home, our cars have been pretty much obsolete and neglected. If you are looking for a way to give your car some much needed TLC while at home this month, we have some handy dandy cleaning tips for you to use.

Here are a selection of home remedies that you can easily find in your pantry as well as helpful tips to ensure that your car stays spick and span while at home.

Use lemon juice

Lemon juice is a wonderful chemical and it is something you can use to clean almost anything. By mixing lemon juice and water in a spray bottle, you can create a simple and natural window and surface cleaner for the inside of the car. The great thing about using lemon is of course the fresh smell you get to enjoy afterward!

Utilize baby wipes

Baby wipes will soon become your best friend when washing your car. A lot of the time when we wash out car we struggle to clean the dashboard and get into those little books and crannies. But don’t fret; a baby wipe wrapped around the end of a thin plastic spatula is your saviour. Using a thin spatula and baby wipes you’ll be able to reach those thin cracks and folds that would normally go out of reach. Get rid of dirt, dust and debris easily.

Invest in T cut

Buying a car is an investment and you may have even needed a registration loan such as www.titleloanser.com to purchase your vehicle. As such it is important to maintain your car throughout your ownership and one of the things you need to do is fix scratches and chips. You can purchase t cut in the same color as your car and use this like nail polish to cover scratches and paintwork issues.

Baking soda

There are two ways you can easily clean your car carpets: either put them in the washing machine, or use baking soda and vacuum cleaner. Sprinkle baking soda onto stains on the car carpet and leave to dry. Baking soda eradicates odour and absorbs moisture. Vacuum it up for a fresh carpet once more.

Use hair conditioner

If you don’t have any car wax or polish at home right now, and you don’t fancy heading to the store; use a hair conditioner! Hair conditioner can be an effective substitute for car polish and will leave your car looking beautiful and shiny, and it might smell pretty great too!

Put vinegar to use

Vinegar is a popular home cleaning product and it can be used in a multitude of ways for your car. However, we suggest that you use pure white vinegar on a cloth to clean and wipe your windshield wipers. Over time, windshield wipers will get clogged with mold as well as dirt and this renders them ineffective at wiping away water and mess from the window. Wiping with vinegar will kill germs and leave the wipers clean once more.
