Decluttering Tips from Amanda Neilson

Amanda Neilson had a number of handy decluttering tips when she gave an interview to Which? back in 2012. The interior designer recommended going paperless, have regular clear-outs that involve recycling and charity donations as well as throwing away, and tailoring your possessions to your storage options – not the other way around.

Bathroom Tips from Nina Campbell

Nina Campbell spoke to the Telegraph in 2010, to offer some imaginative insights into the world of bathroom design. Her tips included creating more space using a footed bath, paying close attention to the placement and type of your lighting options, and always making sure you have adequate storage to keep your bathroom looking clutter free. She also recommended that cream, white and black be used in bathrooms, which any homeowner can do using mix and match tiles from Tiles4All, which come in a variety of neutral shades.

General Interior Design Advice

Don’t neglect your lighting, even if you think other aspects of your house deserve more attention. A good light will not only brighten up the interior of your home, but it also serves as an aesthetically pleasing decoration. Savoy House lighting offers a plethora of modern lighting solutions that can vastly improve the look of a certain room, even when they’re not turned on. Proper lighting improves each room of your house in a unique way, and you can easily purchase anything from pendants to chandeliers, to ceiling fans, and more online.
