Broad A: OOOH how I love TJ MAXX! Haven’t I said this before?? Each visit is a treasure hunt.
Broad A: I strolled into my favorite department store and – right in front – EMUs, UGGs, and Bear Paw, all at great prices. Now if you don’t live where it snows, this means nothing to you (Broad Z in sunny Florida–). AND – since I expect a foot of snow in Utah any day now, these are all of my favorite brands of wonderful suede sheepskin lined boots – I live in them all winter, Plunk! In the cart.
Broad Z: LOL – you’re right “A”, I’ve lost sight of how important those boots are. Thankfully, our TJ Maxx and Marshall’s carry sandals and open shoes YEAR ROUND for we Floridian’s. You may find it ODD, but they ALSO have plenty of the boots that you mention. I guess they’re for those who either travel or just want to be fashion forward.
Broad A: On to the jeans. If you’re anything like me, you wear your favorite pair of jeans until they become undecipherable pieces of a garment – could be anything! You know, the jeans that are so comfortable they are like a second skin – until they literally fall apart. AND you can’t find that brand again~ So I set out to get another pair of my Levi 512 stretch jeans and I knew that TJ MAXX had them. Plunk! In the cart. I also wear jeans to work (lucky me!) so it wasn’t a CHOICE – I had to have a new pair. No Sevens or True Religion for me – I love my 512s.
Broad Z: Well, I had the MR. in mind when I went shopping. We’ve had some cool nights lately here in South Florida (going down into the low 50’s – high 40’s) and he doesn’t even OWN a warm sweater or jacket. So, off we went to find him a nice polar fleece pullover. I LOVE the fact that my Marshall’s has a Big & Tall department for men, because my BIG MAN had NO PROBLEM finding this Claiborne polar fleece pullover.
Check out the price “A” – it was UNDER $15. A fleece like that would cost me about $60 or MORE in one of the Big & Tall shops. That’s why I LOVE Marshall’s. I can find clothes that fit both of my guys, and still pay just a pittance of what I would anywhere else.
Broad A: Awesome “Z” – but I still have MORE SHOPPING to do. A quick stroll through the toys, PLUNK, kids clothes, PLUNK and makeup – PLUNK and I was out the door thanks to the fantastic service at TJ MAXX.
Broad Z: Sounds like you went on a little SPREE there “A.” I’m jealous. Shopping with Mr. Z means a quick in & out of the store. He has NO PATIENCE for shopping. I’ll have to go back later, because I saw some shoes in their MegaShoe department that were SCREAMING to my piggies to try them on.
Broad A: I love finding my treasure trove and TJ MAXX is the pirates ship of all time!~ Thanks TJ MAXX – for another great adventure. You are awesome!
Broad Z: I’m going back to Marshall’s AND TJ Maxx to finish up my holiday shopping. I can buy gifts for EVERYONE. Clothes and nighties for the family members, gourmet treats for the guard at the gate and the mail-woman, cookware from my brother (he LOVES the fact that they carry All Clad) and decorations for the house. For those whom I have NO CLUE of what to buy, they’ll be getting gift cards so they can choose whatever they want.
Broad A: Sounds like you’ve planned it all out.
Broad Z: Sure have “A” – I’ll call you when I get back and tell you what I bought.
We’d like to thank the TJX company and RocketXL for providing both of us with gift cards in order to review and tell you about our shopping experience. We were in no way compensated for this post and all opinions are strictly our own.
