It wasn’t supposed to happen like this.
On June 6, 2014 I was out of the country. Specifically, I was in Mexico with NO computer. Oh, I had my cell phone & camera (this was a press trip), but I figured that four days in the sun of Playa del Carmen would mean that my computer would stay packed in the suitcase. So, why lug it down?
June 6 2014
I should have recognized the date before packing my bags.
I am an addict
If you haven’t seen the Netflix series, Orange is the New Black you can’t possibly understand. Season 1 took me by complete surprise as I sat watching this amazing series over the course of about three days. I couldn’t stop. It was my crack…and then…it was OVER, until June 6 2014, when I was away.
From the creator of “Weeds” comes a heartbreaking and hilarious original series set in a women’s prison. Piper Chapman’s wild past comes back to haunt her, resulting in her arrest and detention in a federal penitentiary. To pay her debt to society, Piper trades her comfortable New York life for an orange prison jumpsuit and finds unexpected conflict and camaraderie amidst an eccentric group of inmates.
I took a taste of the Orange
Last night at 11:30 pm EST I did it. I watched Season Two: Episode One: I Wasn’t Ready. I promised that I wouldn’t leak any spoilers, so all I’m saying is.
I’ve decided to BINGE WATCH Season 2
That’s right, I’m an addict and I can’t control myself when it comes to OITNB, so I can pretty much guarantee you that I’ll be watching the show for the next four nights. Thirteen episodes over five nights (since I’ve already watched the first one). If you need me this week, it’ll have to wait.
Orange is the New Black can be seen EXCLUSIVELY on Netflix.
If you’re not a subscriber you’re missing out on the BEST show on the air.
