Fashion Reviews: Scala Collection Hat

Feminine, chic and functional, the Scala Style LC511 from its 2012 Collection goes from camping and hiking to the Kentucky Derby – all in a second!  With a 4 inch brim that can be turned up, this Scala Sunhat has an external bow trim that is a functional sizing tie – so that one size truly fits all!

Another great feature of this ageless sunhat is its ability to pack – it bounces back into shape and can be stored in your hiking backpack, luggage or purse for the beach, the ball, or just a vacation to St. Moritz (also good for gliding through Targe!).

Since I hike – a lot – and hate the possibilities of skin cancer in the high Uinta sun at 8,000 ASL, I wear this hat all the time.  The brim and my sunglasses keep me covered and I love it!   This Ribbon Crusher style can be purchased at http://www.hartfordyork.com/product/6705/scala-womens-hats for about $30.00.

BETTER YET for our readers, the hat is available 5/10/12 through 6/30/12 for 20% off, meaning $24.00!

This hat is constructed beautifully.  The canvas is heavy yet light on the head, and the trim is beautiful.  It covers so well I don’t know what I did without it.  And the colors – cream, white, pink, light brown, lime, turquoise, black – wow!

  1. I have one and love it! It is navy with a small white stripe going through it. It was on sale for $15 and was the only one left. I just happened to be walking by and saw!
